Hi everyone!
I can't wait to start meeting everyone in the group.
About me: I'm an environmental scientist by education, so I've always been immersed in the scientific end of mostly pollution and climate change. Although all of the information always broke my heart, I think I was in it too deep-
detached from what I could do to make a difference. It was all too big..
I had my son in September of 2007. He is just the sweetest little being
I have ever met. So patient, so sweet-tempered, and so in wonder of
everything this world has to offer. I, of course, want to give him the
world.. A perfect world. I know his life won't be filled with all the
good, but he needs to be able to be given the opportunity to experience
the world we all experienced. All children do. I feel it is our duty as
parents and residents of this world to make a small impact on the
Earth, but a large impact on the improvement of it for future
generations.
My family and I are planning to start up a company in a few months. We intend
to deliver fresh organic produce from local farms to our customers'
doors. We want to help our farmers sustain their farms for generations
to come. Along with produce, I want to deliver natural/environmentally
friendly baby products to our customers' doors. As a mom of a baby, I
know how difficult it is to take care of your little one, while keeping
up with all the products you need and also looking for/ researching the
products with the smallest impact on our Earth. We want to do the leg
work and carry these products. I want to save our nature!
